Article 127 [Stealing, Snatching, or Robbing Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, or Dangerous Substances] A person who endangers public safety by stealing or snatching firearms, ammunition, or explosives, or stealing or snatching toxic or radioactive substances, infectious disease pathogens, or other hazardous substances, shall be sentenced to imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years, or to imprisonment of not less than ten years, life imprisonment, or death if the offense is committed under serious circumstances.
A person who endangers public safety by robbing firearms, ammunition, or explosives, or robbing toxic or radioactive substances, infectious disease pathogens, or other hazardous substances, or steals or snatches firearms, ammunition, or explosives from a government authority, military or police officer, or militia member, shall be sentenced to imprisonment of not less than ten years, life imprisonment, or death.
