Article 64 [Disposal of Property Involved] All property illegally obtained by an offender shall be recovered or ordered to make restitution, the legitimate property of a victim shall be returned in a timely manner, and contrabands and personal property of an offender used for criminal purposes shall be forfeited.
Forfeited property and fines shall be paid to the national treasury and shall not be misappropriated or otherwise disposed of.
