Article 111 [Stealing, Secretly Gathering, Buying or Illegally Providing State Secrets and Information for Overseas Use] A person who steals, secretly gathers, buys, or illegally provides State secrets or information for an overseas institution, organization, or individual shall be sentenced to imprisonment of not less than five years but not more than ten years, or to imprisonment of not less than ten years or life imprisonment if the crime is committed under particularly serious circumstances, or to imprisonment of not more than five years, custody, supervised release, or deprivation of political rights if the crime is committed under mitigating circumstances.
