Article 57 [Deprivation of Political Rights of Offender Sentenced to Death or Life Imprisonment] An offender sentenced to death or life imprisonment shall be deprived of their political rights for life.
When death penalty with a reprieve is commuted to fixed-term imprisonment, or life imprisonment is commuted to fixed-term imprisonment, the term of deprivation of political rights as an accessory penalty shall be changed to a term of no less than three years and no more than ten years.
