Article 89 [Calculation and Interruption of Statute of Limitations] The statute of limitations for prosecution of a crime shall be counted from the date when the crime is committed, or the date when the commission of the crime is accomplished if it is repetitive or continuous.
Where the offender of a crime commits any other crime during the statute of limitations for prosecution, the statute of limitations for prosecution of the first crime shall be counted from the date when such other crime is committed.
