Article 55 [Term of Deprivation of Political Rights] The term of deprivation of political rights shall be no less than one year and no more than five years, except as provided in Article 57 of this Law.
Where deprivation of political rights is imposed as an accessory penalty on a person sentenced to supervised release, the term of deprivation of political rights shall be the same as the term of supervised release, and both penalties shall be executed simultaneously.
