Section 2 Supervised Release
Article 38 [Term of Supervised Release and Competent Authority] The term of supervised release shall be no less than three months and no more than two years.
Where an offender is sentenced to supervised release, they may be prohibited from engaging in specific activities, entering specific areas and places, or having access to specific persons during the term of supervision depending on the circumstances of the crime.
Offenders sentenced to supervised release shall be referred to community corrections in accordance with the law.
In case of violation of the prohibitions stipulated in the second paragraph of this Article, the police authority shall impose administrative sanctions in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China.
