Article 123 [Endangering Flight Safety by Violence] A person who endangers flight safety by using violence against any person on board an aircraft during flight shall be sentenced to imprisonment of not more than five years or custody if no serious consequences have been caused thereby, or to imprisonment of not less than five years if serious consequences are caused thereby.
