Article 157 [Penalties for Armed Support for Smuggling or Resisting Smuggling Combating] A person who provides armed support for smuggling shall be given aggravated penalties in accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph of Article 151 of this Law.
A person who, by means of violence or threatening, resists the combating against smuggling shall be convicted of the offense of smuggling and the offense of obstructing government officials from performing their duties defined in Article 277 of this Law and shall be punished in accordance with the provisions regarding increased penalties for multiple convictions.
