Article 155 [Indirect Smuggling Acts Deemed as Corresponding Smuggling Offenses] A person who commits any of the following acts shall be convicted of the offenses defined in and punished in accordance with the applicable provisions of this Section:
Illegally purchasing articles prohibited by the State directly from smugglers, or illegally purchasing other imported smuggled goods or articles in a large amount directly from smugglers; or
Transporting, purchasing, or selling goods prohibited by the State from importing or exporting in inland waters, territorial waters, boundary rivers, or boundary lakes, or transporting, purchasing, or selling goods or articles restricted by the State from importing or exporting in a large amount without legal proof.
