Article 71 [Sentencing on New Counts Found after Judgment] Where it is found, after a judgment of conviction of a crime is pronounced but before the execution of the punishment is completed, that the same offender committed any other crime, they shall be convicted of such other crime, and the punishment to be executed shall be determined based on the punishment imposed for the previous crime the execution of which has not been completed and the punishment imposed for the subsequent crime in accordance with the provisions of Article 69 of this Law.
